From Mark Griswold:  Hi Cousins!  I’m going through some old photos.  I had been told that this photo is of Elisha Wolcott (1755-1837), father of Mary Wolcott (1779-1847), who married my 4x GG Thomas Griswold (1775-1850), but daguerreotype wasn’t even invented until 1839 and not widely used until the 1840’s and 50’s.  This chap appears to be in his 30’s, which means it could be Franklin Wolcott Griswold (1815-1886), son of Thomas and Mary.  Does anyone have a photo of Franklin or otherwise know who this might be?
