Approximately twenty Griswolds converged on Valley Forge, PA for our first GFA Reunion since the COVID-19 pandemic. It was wonderful to meet and catch up with our fellow Griswold cousins. After the membership meeting on Saturday morning, the group traveled to Valley Forge National Historical Park, where we visited locations of historical importance, including the Washington Memorial Chapel, the newly restore Washington’s headquarters, the National Memorial Arch. We ended Saturday with a delicious dinner at the hotel. On Sunday, the group visited historic downtown Philadelphia for tour of the Museum of the American Revolution and a walking tour of the downtown area. Much fun was had by all and we wish to offer our sincere appreciation to both Sara French and Jack Hooten, who both did so much to make the event such a success. More photos from the weekend can be found on page 8 of this bulletin.
Mark your calendars now for next year’s reunion to be held August 2nd through the 4th, 2024 in Princeton, New Jersey! We’re planning to resume our biennial reunion schedule next year and a heritage tour to Salt Lake City, Utah is under consideration for 2026.
